On 04-21-2025, Kody O. Kempinger, Mound City, was traveling northward on Paine Road near Mine Creek Drive when he approached a vehicle driven by Brady J. Langholz, Mound City. Kempinger crossed the center line in an attempt to pass the vehicle driven by Langholz. Langholz crossed the center line and sideswiped Kempinger’s vehicle and continued driving northward. Kempinger backed off behind Langholz and continued to follow him since he didn’t immediately stop. Langholz came to a stop near the intersection Kansas Highway 52 and Paine Road, and the drivers exchanged information. Both drivers had valid license and valid insurance. (Case 250334)

On 05-02-2025, Arthur D. Pearson, Redfield, was traveling northward on US 69 Highway near 200 Road when a deer entered the roadway and hit the vehicle. (Case 250374)

On 05-07-2025, James M. Gulotta, Pleasanton, was traveling northward on US 69 Highway near 2400 Road when a deer jumped off a small cliff onto the highway and was struck by the vehicle. (Case 250394)

On 05-10-2025, Allison Cummings, Mound City, was traveling southward on County Road 1095 near Newton Lane when she struck a deer. (Case 250408)

On 06-01-2025, Walter L. Wisdom, Pleasanton, was traveling southward on Kansas Highway 7 approximately a quarter of a mile north of 2200 Road when he struck a deer, causing significant cosmetic damage to the front bumper of the vehicle. The vehicle was still operable. (Case 250501)
